It is a sad thing to admit; but there will be many, many places in your life that you will want to visit, but can’t. It is not a sad thing though; but knowing that allows you the kind of freedom to not have to worry about where to go and what to do. Don’t get paralysed by choice, but instead embrace your lack of time and make a decision. One of the things that you can do, however, is use Google Maps and Google Earth to do a little bit of noseying before you make any kind of decision that is going to cost you your hard earned money. Flying around on Google Maps allows you the kind of voyeurism into people’s lives that you wouldn’t normally have access to. See their streets, check out their houses and check out any local sights you’ve only seen touristy photos of; this time you’ll be allowed an insight into a town or a place that you’d only dreamt about.
