I always just assume that people are out in the world travelling and, of course, reading my blog for tips and insight. I am a travel guru. I am well aware though, that there are many people in the world who do not travel for a few reasons. Travel can often be expensive; despite the money saving tips on offer in the world, but flights can be expensive especially to the far reaches of the world. Some people though are committed to their lives at home; working as hard as they can to make their work and family lives a success.

Travel can eat away your savings and should you be saving for something like a house or to have children then the cost of a holiday for the two of you could well be an unwanted expense. Having said that it is also worthwhile knowing how restful and refreshing a holiday can be to get away from the stresses and strains of working insanely hard to make things work for your family.
