When going on holiday, it can be easy to be led by our hearts. We will often see a pretty picture of some palm trees or a good review of a hotel and we will instantly fall in love with a destination. It’s important to remain in control and make a decision with your head, not your heart. Think about these points before making a decision:
- Is the accommodation close to your preferred location? Make sure there are places for you to eat and drink, as well as things for you to do. If there isn’t within the immediate vicinity, check whether the transport will be easy.
- Does it have the right type of rooms? This is especially important if you are travelling as a family. Make sure rooms can accommodate cots or extra beds if needed.
- What are the facilities like? Do you want to stay in a hotel with beach access? Or do you prefer the idea of a villa with a private pool?
